Trisha Kummer is joining Kirby Hall for the 2010-2011 school year to teach Art. After growing up in North Dakota she attended college at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis where she earned a degree in Studio Art. After moving to Texas she finished the graduate certification program for education at Texas State and was certified to teach all-level Art. She owned and ran her own studio photography business and has three years of experience teaching and working with students in the Arts. When not teaching or making art of her own she enjoys spending time with her daughter who is two and a half years old, biking, practicing yoga, reading, and swimming.
