The Red-Shouldered Hawks (Buteo lineatus) are nesting again at the school - here are some photos of these magnificent birds. The image in photo 2 is the view the students get when looking through a special screen that we have on one of our classroom windows. It took them 5 attempts to build a nest as February was a very windy month. We feel very privileged to have been chosen as the "best home" in Austin.
