Every year, our 3rd - 6th Grade students participate in the Texas Bluebonnet Award program. They read at least 5 of the 20 nominees and vote for their favorite in January. This year, the Kirby Hall favorite was the state favorite as well - Down Girl and Sit: On the Road by Lucy Nolan and Mike Read! Next year's nominees are in the library, just waiting to be checked out! |
