1st Grade’s Pharaoh Project
Our 1st graders completed and presented their first history project in early April as a culminating activity for the unit on Ancient Egypt. Students had to write about what kind of pharaoh they would have been, design a headdress, create a cartouche and write out laws they would have passed. Once their projects were assembled, the students presented them to the class. This project introduced students to the process of drafting and editing, as well as to public speaking.
