There are 150 parking spots available at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. You may also park in the spots on the street right off La Crosse Ave.

Can I Bring my Children?

Unfortunately, this event will only be for 18+ individuals. We would normally make this a family event, but since our students are the most vulnerable to COVID at this time we have decided to not have them present during this event.

COVID-19 Event Procedures

We are planning to have the event outdoors in order to promote social distancing and to have plenty of fresh airflow. We will be requiring that everyone wear a mask when walking around to mingle, entering any buildings, and when not eating or drinking. During dinner, we are asking that everyone spread out to eat. We also ask that you do not keep your mask off for a prolonged amount of time while drinking, but to take a sip and to put your mask back on. Please remember, that even if you are vaccinated you are still able to pass COVID-19 to others that may be more vulnerable.

What are we raising this money for? Will this be our only fundraiser of the year?

The Gala will be our Main Fundraiser but will have some smaller ones later on as well.
We will be doing a Live Auction with the themed baskets from each grade. All money that will be raised from the Live Auction will be going to our General Fund, which helps take care of the building, classroom materials, beautification of Kirby Hall, etc.
After the Live Auction, there will be Paddles Up. All the money raised during this will go to our Playground and our new Kirby Park! Not sure how Paddles Up works? No worries! We will explain it all at the event!

Is this tax-deductible?

Yes! Any money raised over the amount of the basket prices during the Live Auction will be tax-deductible. Any money donated during the Paddles Up will be 100% tax-deductible.

Who will be conducting the Live Auction and Paddles Up?

We have the amazing Gayle Stallings, Texas License #16089, from FUNauctions as our Auctioneer!
