Come Hungry and Thirsty!
Pokejo’s Smokehouse will be providing a BBQ Buffet. There will be 2 meats and 3 sides available. Vegetarian? No problem! There will be a roasted portobello mushroom served with warm quinoa gremolata. Water, Ice Tea, and Lemonade will be available for everyone. For our 21+ audience, there will be an open bar!
*Food and Drinks are included in the ticket price.
Is There Parking? If so, Where Can I Park?
There are 150 parking spots available at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. You may also park in the spots on the street right off La Crosse Ave.
Can I Bring my Children?
Of course! We are excited to make this a family event once again! We will have some activity tables open in the Great Hall during the Live Auction/Paddles Up. Children 3 years and under are free!
What are we raising this money for? Will this be our only fundraiser of the year?
The Gala will be our Main Fundraiser but may have some smaller ones later on as well. We will be doing a Live Auction with the themed baskets from each grade. All money that will be raised from the Live Auction will be going to our General Fund, which helps take care of the building, classroom materials, beautification of Kirby Hall, etc. After the Live Auction, there will be Paddles Up. All the money raised during this will go to finishing our Playground Project! Not sure how Paddles Up works? No worries! We will explain it all at the event!
Is this tax-deductible?
Yes! Any money raised over the amount of the basket prices during the Live Auction will be tax-deductible. Any money donated during the Paddles Up will be 100% tax-deductible.
Who will be conducting the Live Auction and Paddles Up?
We have the amazing Gayle Stallings, Texas License #16089, from FUNauctions as our Auctioneer!
