2nd grade has been learning about the Digestive System in Science and they had a special presentation by two of our parents who are Physicians at the University of Texas. During their presentation they compared human anatomy with those of other animals, showed how long the small intestine is, and had an interactive activity that demonstrated how our digestive system works! The students even got to ask them a lot of great questions.
