Chelsea Toler-Hoffmann is one of our many wonderful alumni we are proud to have as a part of our Kirby Hall family. She is a passionate individual who cares about helping and bettering our community. Chelsea has a deep love for music and makes sure it is always in her life.
She has always been a strong supporter of Kirby, along with her family. Her mother, Shawn Toler, built our amazing Primer program and was the first Primer teacher at KHS. Shawn Toler still checks in with Helen Roberts to see how the school is doing and lends her expertise whenever it is needed.
One of the many ways Chelsea was still a part of Kirby even after she was out of High School is when she and her husband, Daniel, both held a soccer camp here at Kirby and worked with different age groups giving them encouragement and confidence. Chelsea still shows her support to this day when she drops by to say hello to Helen Roberts or when she is running a fundraiser campaign for Kirby Hall during Amplify Austin. Not only does Chelsea love Kirby Hall, but like her family, she truly believes in what Kirby Hall is all about. If you don’t believe me, take it from her!
“Kirby Hall School holds a very special place in my heart as I am sure it does for all of the students that once called this magical red brick school house home.
From lifelong friendships to tremendous faculty, this school provides the students with much more than just an excellent education. Kirby Hall School provides the community with a pipeline of community leaders ready to make their influential marks on the world.
The Kirby Hall family emphasizes the importance of challenging oneself and equips students with the tools they need to not only dream big, but to accomplish their big dreams.
For me, I often dreamed of one day finding a career that would allow for me to help others and support the community we all love. Never in my wildest dreams would I have anticipated being able to serve the community as an I Live Here I Give Here team member. With a goal of raising $10 million dollars for 700 nonprofits for Amplify Austin Day, I feel incredibly blessed, but also prepared to reach for this challenging goal largely because of my time spent at Kirby Hall.
I hope you all will join me on Amplify Austin Day (March 1st and March 2nd) in giving back to a school that has given me and hundreds of other students the ability to challenge themselves and accomplish goals beyond even their wildest dreams.”
